Yummy Fruit
Let's have some fun with fruit! First you have to ask mum or dad to buy you a banana and a pear, you will need both for this week's homework! Everybody should do the banana and pear activities and home reading. If you want extra homework you can go to the bonus section and pick more activities. The bonus homework is optional, that means you don't have to do it if you don't want to!

Click on the banana to go to Enchanted Learning.com. Follow the instructions to do this fun activity. You will need a banana and a toothpick to do this.
When you are finished, enjoy your healthy snack!
WHAT'S
INSIDE A PEAR?
Click on the pear to go to USAPEARS.com. Scroll down to the section "The Parts of a Pear" Read carefully by yourself or get mum or dad to help you read. When you're ready click to see the diagram of the labelled pear. Ask mum or dad to cut your real pear in half. Now you can draw your own labelled cross section of a pear. Use the diagram and the real pear to help you with your work.
When you are finished, enjoy your healthy snack!
You should bring your diagram of your pear to school this FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 7th for Ms. Hartin.
